I am an experienced, accredited Psychodynamic Psychotherapist and have full clinical membership of the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP).
I have been a practising psychotherapist for over ten years and am committed to providing a safe, non-judgemental, empathic, respectful approach in a caring and compassionate space.
I have experience in individual and group therapy and have worked with people experiencing addictions, eating disorders, anxiety, depression, personality disorders, grief, the loss of a loved one through suicide, self-harm, PTSD, sexual trauma, domestic violence, relationship difficulties, postnatal depression and parenting challenges. I have also worked with postgraduate students and with people negotiating life in a new country.
I work to the professional standards and code of ethics of the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy. I regularly participate in professional development to update my knowledge and skills. I am also able to provide supervision for health and social service professionals
I trained as a psychotherapist in New Zealand and have experience working in private practice, a therapeutic community, and voluntary organisations.
